The WX4NHC (ex W4EHW) Group was
presented the Conference Volunteer Award
for their volunteer duties at the National Hurricane Center since
1980 and their "contributions to the Survivability of South
Florida".
The audience of about 600 people included Max Mayfield NHC
Director,
FEMA Officials, South Florida Emergency Management Officials and
Government Officials.
