NP2B receives WX4NHC Appreciation Award

At the WX4NHC Hurricane Conference, Feb.
1999, John Ellis NP2B of St. Croix USVI,
was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for his years of
dedicated hurricane reporting.
John was unlucky enough to have several hurricanes pass right
over his house and continued to report
his weather measurements over the air on the Hurricane Watch Net,
email, fax and phone.
In recognition of John using just about every mode of
transmission to get his weather reports to WX4NHC,
he was presented with a humorous additional backup equipment, the
Weather
Report In A Bottle device.
